Photoshop Parody Ads Show the Depressing Truth About Filtered Beauty

It used to be that the more stubborn of us wouldn’t believe anything unless we saw it with our own eyes.  Now, thanks to Photoshop et al, trusting our eyes has become a quaint misconception.  Check out Gizmodo’s article about artist Anna Hill’s Photoshop Parody Ads.  The article closes by noting that “[t]o a certain point Hill’s parody is all fun, but let’s not forget that our constant exposure to these crazy images is changing how we see the world—and probably not in the way Photoshop’s creators had in mind.”
